Start with your website
Give us your website address and we read it for you. We fill in your business name, phone number and email, and suggest the trade to list you under. You check everything before it is sent.

Note: before your listing goes live, you will need to pass our checks: an online look-up, then an automated phone call to the number you give us and an email with a link for you to approve your listing. It's nothing to worry about, we're just making sure the information you've provided checks out. If the category you've chosen is already up to capacity in your town, we'll pop you on the waiting list and add you as soon as a place opens.
Found your business listed? Tell us which listing is yours and what you would like us to do. We will check that you run the business before we change anything. If we have emailed you a confirmation link, that is the quickest way: it lets you approve or remove your listing straight away.

Before you apply
Is it free to list my business?
Yes. A listing is free, and stays free for as long as your business passes our checks. There is no trial and no renewal fee. You do not need reviews, a limited company or a finished website.
What is a Featured listing?
An optional paid upgrade for businesses that are already listed and Verified. It lasts 12 months and does not renew automatically. Featured businesses appear on our home page, our browse page and, below the listings, on other trade and town pages in the same town. Their listing can show photos, a longer description, services, opening hours and social links, and each month they get an email with how often their page was viewed and their phone number and website were clicked. Featured never buys a place, a Verified badge or a higher position on a trade and town page, and every Featured card is labelled.
Can a new business apply?
Yes, and we would like you to. You do not need years of trading history, a limited company, existing reviews or any documents. If there is not much about you online yet, that is fine. You will need a phone number we can ring and an email address you read.
My trade or town is not listed. Can I still apply?
Yes. Apply with your trade and town. If you pass our checks, we create the page and your business is the first on it.
Why do you ring us?
To confirm that your business answers its phone. We ring during working hours at a time you will not expect. All you need to do is answer. You can keep the number off your listing if you prefer: we only need it for the check. The call may be recorded and transcribed so that we have a record of the check.
Is a listing guaranteed?
No. Your business has to pass the checks, and there must be a place free in your trade and town. We list usually up to three businesses on each page. If the places are taken, we add you to the waiting list and tell you when one opens.
Will a listing bring me customers?
