These are starter terms for Best Rated Company. They’re written plainly, but they are not legal advice — please have a solicitor review them before relying on them.

About our listings

We aim to list only reputable local businesses that pass our checks for genuine reviews, financial standing and public liability insurance. We do this carefully and in good faith, but we are an independent directory: we don’t employ the businesses listed, and we can’t guarantee the work, conduct or availability of any company you find here.

Any agreement you enter into with a listed business is strictly between you and that business. Always satisfy yourself directly — including confirming current insurance and pricing — before hiring anyone.

No paid placement

Businesses cannot pay to be listed or to rank higher. Listings are editorial decisions made by us.

Accuracy

We work to keep details accurate, but information can change. If you spot something out of date or incorrect, please tell us and we’ll review it.

Your use of the site

• Use the site lawfully and don’t attempt to disrupt, copy wholesale, or misuse it.
• Information you submit must be truthful and yours to share.
• We may update, suspend or remove any listing or content at our discretion.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from any dealings with a listed business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Links to other sites

We link to businesses’ own websites for your convenience. We’re not responsible for the content or practices of external sites.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page.
