Thackray House
Thackray House is a historic country house hotel on the banks of the River Teith in Callander, Stirlingshire. Built in 1625 as a hunting lodge for the Dukes of Perth, it became a hotel and restaurant in 1939. The house stands in its own 21-acre estate of gardens and woodland within the Trossachs, a short walk from Callander village. It offers rooms and suites, dining in the Strawberry Fields Bistro and house lounges, and facilities for weddings and conferences.
