What a Verified badge means

Before a business gets a Verified badge, we:

  1. Look it up online: its website, its public reviews, good and bad, and anything that should worry a customer.
  2. Email the address on the listing with a one-time link, and the business approves its listing or asks us to remove it.

Each Verified listing shows when it was last checked. We do not check insurance, audit accounts or inspect work, and we do not guarantee any job, so please ask any business for its insurance certificate before you hire. Read the full process.

About flooring in London

Flooring work in London covers a wide range of jobs, from fitting carpet and laying hardwood or engineered wood to installing vinyl, laminate, tiles and luxury vinyl planks. Many London homes are flats and period houses with uneven subfloors, so preparation work such as levelling and checking moisture often matters as much as the finish itself. Before you commit, ask for a written quote that sets out materials and preparation, request examples of similar recent work you can look at, and agree a realistic timescale so you know when the floor will be ready to walk on and when furniture can return.
